bØN ODORI Workshop Nr4, ‘Sten og Krop’

Workshop Nr4 will take its starting point from the flint stone. Together, we will examine how the stones speak to our bodies. We start outside of GeoCentre and walk into Klinteskoven on Grønvejen, where we can find interesting shapes of flint stones – under the layers of leaves, on the root of trees or in between moss and plants. As a warming up, we will find an open space in the forest and make stone exercises to connect bodies. The exercises let us practice intimate balance and collaboration with others. Then taking this as inspiration sources, we will create movements/body languages “Sten og Krop (Stone and Body)” together.

Come and join! It will be a meditative and collective experience!

bØN Odori Workshop Nr.5, ‘In the making of a land’

English below..

bØN Odori Workshop nr.5 ‘In the making of a land’ er den sisdte workshop i ‘bØN Odori’ projektet.

Workshop no.5 ‘In the making of a land’ is the last workshop of ‘bØN Odori’ project.

It takes place at a newly started artist-initiated association “På Den Anden Side” (“On the other side” in Eng.) in Hårbølle, Møn. Together with the founders of the association and participants of the academic research network ‘CCCA – Collaboration and Community-Building in Contemporary Art’, we will playfully discuss and investigate “What is community?”, “How can art help to shape the communities of the future? “
Inspired by the thoughts and discussions, each of us will create individual movements and languages. Then we will make a group dance that may have an unexpected, fluid, chunky, organic, melting-grape-like format that maybe not much to do with the original Japanese Bon Odori.

Date: Wed 14th Aug 13.00 to 20.00
